PTFE Coated Glass Fabrics
Porous Fabrics
Our Porous series has three grades of thickness. They are based on a 3, 5 and 10thou thick material but with a much smaller PTFE content allowing airflow through the surface of the fabric.
In composite vacuum bagging a porous peel ply material is used when you do not wish to restrict the resin bleed and/or a peel ply surface texture is required.
Industrial Series
Our industrial series of materials offers the ideal solution where the requirement for a long lasting material is not required. Where operational circumstances dictate the regular change of material these grades are ideally suited.
Standard Series
The standard series of materials is the most common of the grades we offer. Due to its high PTFE coating it's the preferred choice for many industries because of its outstanding performance characteristics. Used in many high through put production facilities it allows continual runs without the need for constant change and downtime. If your process includes such jobs as sealing bags or welding UPVC window frames you can rely on standard series to perform.
Premium Series
The premium series of materials are coated on to a twisted style of substrate glass and because of this it has two key advantages. The first is it allows for a much higher PTFE content to be applied giving the ultimate super smooth surface. The second is the added tensile strength the twisted yarns provide. This range of materials is ideally suited to belting applications where a good surface release is paramount.
